The property inspector will a review a list of documents provided by the client, identifying all common area components. The property inspection consists of measurement and photographic analysis of all Reserve components. Also conducted is an assessment of the general condition and remaining life expectancy of the property’s Reserve components.
Contractors and Vendors
Estimated life expectancies and life cycles of common area components are based on conditions that were readily accessible and visible at the time of the inspection, as well as the age of the community and/or component. In some cases, information may be obtained by contacting the contractor or vendor that has worked on the property for any component in question. Property inspections are always conducted with respect for the property and the homeowners. Invasive or intrusive methods will never be used during a property inspection.
